We are not an agency, we are professional landlords operating properties.
Our story began in 2014 when we decided to buy properties in Liverpool and convert them into HMO's. As landlords, we have extensive experience managing our own portfolio of tenants, avoiding the same mistakes of landlords operating their homes without time, staff, dedication and customer service for our tenants.
We also avoid acting as letting agencies that only focus on growing their property portfolio, charging landlords for every visit, call or issue and filling houses without doing due diligence or vetting new tenants.
Learning from all these mistakes, we created our in-house rental department, maintaining our ethos and philosophy of putting ourselves in the owner's shoes and fully understanding their mindset. Once our portfolio grew to an acceptable size and our staff, systems and equipment were tested and matured over many years, we decided to launch our services to other landlords on the open market, maintaining the same ethos and philosophy, selecting the best properties in the HMO market and Lauk Lettings was born as a new company in August 2021.
